MAVK competes with the Grant Prideco division of EVI in drill pipe, casing, and tubing. (All drilling related.) MAVR also makes line pipe (for pipeline construction), Some of their standard pipe and structural shapes are no doubt sold outside the petroleum industry. Increased pipelaying activity would probably help their sales. Possible someone who follows MAVK could comment. The only competition for Coflxip's flexible steel pipe is a small private manufacturer in Panama City FL by the name of Wellstream Company LP.
