To Mecisco and all: Attitude, earnings and more.
If it was IDTI's management's decision not to go to the conference this shows bad judgement putting their egos before stockholders interest. This wouldn't be the first time.
Last quarter's earnings show an increase in revenue and a decrease in research and development, but no increase in earnings over the prior quarter. I think management was trying for better results by pulling some tricks but couldn't produce them as they had said last year.
One of the reasons for poor earnings is management doesn't have the backbone to charge more for the products it sells to Cisco Systems, their largest customer. I think I smell a rat here.
Another reason is management can't seem to manufacture their own microprocessors. The C6 has been out for how long now and they still can't make enough to keep up with demand. Here they are using .35 micron and talking about going to .25 while other companies are going to .18 microns. If IBM makes the C6+ how much will IDTI profit and what will be the selling price by the time they start producing them?
What will be the next news we hear? Insiders sold before earnings came out? A new stock offering?
Comments please.
