Your post is so off base it's hard to know where to begin to refute it. Let me make one point, and allow others to join in. You call Oracle Services a catastrophe. Consider this: Oracle Consulting's worldwide professional services revenue for fiscal 1997 was about
$1.2 billion--about 20 percent of Oracle's total revenue and up 55 percent from fiscal 1996. Gosh, what a catastrophe. Services and apps are the growth area for Oracle, NOT license sales.
