You're back to the swap file issue. If you're running Win95 you can also get this message when you have plenty of memory and swap space but have run out of resource space (which is a single 64K page) - this is especially likely if a lot of graphics intensive apps are open since they use GDI handles in resource space. No help for that one - 'It's a feature' as they say at MSFT.
Those problems don't exist under NT, and if that is an NT message you need to set up more page file space, this is done from the performance tab on the systems icon in the control panel.
None of this has anything to do with processor speed, but if you are in fact short on swap space you should see some improvement in performance with more swap. good luck...

I suggest upping your system memory too. IMO you don't want to be
swapping to disk ever, if you can avoid it.
