Did anyone check out the earnings report announced today? I am curious how to value a bank, and one on the internet for that matter, I have no clue. The only thing that I got was the account growth was very robust. But I'm having a hard time trying to place a value on this company. I've checked out their webpage and I could not see the compelling reason for someone to put there money in this bank. I have Wells Fargo and can see my account online any day of the week. And I didn't think dollars can come out of computers, or? Motley Fools say their rates they give are good but I really didn't see that. They want to charge you for a checking account per month. If someone has an account with them (I doubt it) please post and tell me why this bank is so great. Also if you are not based in Atlanta would you want checks where everyone is going to question you having an out of state bank, or hold checks longer than normal.
Ron

Hey Mark:

Did you ever get back into NTBK ??

The few shares I held onto are starting to look pretty good again...I never added any more when it dipped down to low 20's.

I did check in on ol' ECGOF today and it wasn't too pretty...I've got a few of those woofers in my portfolio as well !!!!

CYCH looking interesting at these low levels as well, and I am really tempted by VOCLF around $11...I think it will make another big run sooner or later. Meanwhile, AMZN, YHOO, and AOL keep flying higher and higher...UNREAL !!!!

Mark.
