This is the beauty of CPQ: the market doesn't have high expectations for this company. You have to buy before the street does.

Wait until they see that the inventory has been reduced, and the ODM is up and running. Wait until they see that the DEC merger is going smoothly. Wait until they figure out that Compaq has basically got Digital for a song. And wait until Compaq announces that it will spin-off Altavista.

Once the street sees any of these signs and especially all of them... this stock should make new highs. People will be saying, how stupid they were for not buying this stock in the 20's. They'll also be kicking themselves when AltaVista's stock doubles in the first trading day. We'll of course be jumping up and down with joy.
