Bonds are down around a quarter at the moment--close to the lows for the day. Weakness but not a break-down.

The co-relation with the bonds is not that direct -- but if the bonds weaken markedly, the S&P will follow, IMO

Like I said before, the bond action/inaction will be the primary determinant as to near-term stock market direction. I think the bond will stabilize here.
