Yes, as Ken P points out, it appears we are still using ancient techniques to value this revolution!

Candle Stick, AMZN will likely sell $500M worth of books in 1998. I anticipate revenues of ~$10B in 5 years (2003). The general and specialty booksellers do not have AMZN's potential for growth. Neither do BKS and BGP. Bertlesmann does, and I wish I knew what they were up to lately.

Anyway, this explains the difference in the P/S ratios.
