It sure is. Actually I'm hearing that Compaq might change it's name. ALl three brands Compaq, Dec, and Tandem, will be under this one large company. But that is beside the point.

As you posted Compaq had 1997 sales of $24,584,000,000. Of this amount Tandem totaled $436 million, I believe. I'll have to look up the exact number of employees it had.

LOD, I've come to realize that Eddie doesn't understand accounting concepts. Neither a pooling of interests merger nor an outright purchase count according to Eddie.
