(Nasdaq: POCI) announced today the availability of a series of prototype narrow bandwidth (under 1-nanometer) optical filters for use in Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexer (DWDM) optical communications systems. DWDM-Class narrowband filters of this type may be used in DWDM devices consisting of up to approximately 40 channels. The Company is currently supporting product evaluation tests of these filters with several potential customers.
