[redmond gte service/ aol] hi jay, noticed your post about gte adsl service on the orckit board.... many seem to be belittling gte's commitment to rollout... sounds like the real thing to me... don't know if you've heard about it... but aol will be trialing adsl in redmond as well... looks like it's thru gte equipment... @ $49.95 per mo (includes the monthly AOL fee) would think many would be interested.. probably not worth the aggravation of dealing with aol.. but would be interested if you hear of any details... bbn.com fwiw... for gte.. the co equipment is fujitsu co-developed with orctf (partnership for n. america) and the silicon at least for now is orctf's lsi silicon... later this year the new fujitsu/orctf stuff should be arriving.. keep us posted... on how things work out best o luck s
