Hi Leroy, I don't worry to much about the shorts. If your stock is on the move it will get shorted. As far as I'm concerned if the shorting is legal and the fundamentals are good, then short away because it's short term. Remember, after the dirty deed is done he/she is a buyer in the bank. IMO As for "bona fide market making activities" That's a great question, one I have asked about myself. Little black and white with lots of grey on either side.
