If you are a Democrat running for elected office here in Virginia, Zip is the standard and a Zip drive will be your first campaign expense. A party candidate gets his list of the registered voters in the Ward from the state party on a Zip disk. The disk also comes with a nice utilities program that lets you sort the data any way you please - by street, last name, etc.
