Penni -- Don't you try to win me over with taht Treasure Box of Memories, no matter how compelling it is!!!

I I I saw you over at waht has become my fave thread, assisting the evil trio (or is it a quintet?) in slamming the scamspammers! So WAHT if they're odious and laughable, at least they're making MONEY!

Which is more than I can say for myself...

I must go sit in a quiet corner and remember the days when money, like manna, fell from above, even if it was my uncles acting at the behest of my dear grandma (and that woman could behest with a vengeance, if ya know what I mean).

Great story. I especially liked the stuff about wanting to change your middle name. For a short time when I was 10 or so I wanted to be called Boulevard Shagnasty. It was a name one of my uncles, who was an educator, used as one of the gag choices on a multiple choice history test and I thought it was so funny. One of my dad's friends still calls me Boulevard when he sees me, which, unfortunately, is not very often any more.

Jeez, Penni, if you had a daughter you would have to call her Chappell.
