JDN, I think a lot of their problems have to do with the changing of their focus from primarily a staff augmentation co to a project mgmt one. I think they zigged with their infrastucture expenses but their contract signings did not do the accompanying zag. Thus, I think they are a little shy about further infrastructure investments until they see some fruition from their strategy. However, when they do get contracts they plan to try to shift whatever they can to their offshore facility where margins are much better and they have a 100% tax holiday as long as work done at the facility is more than 80% for business outside of India. To me this verifies that the more experienced IT firms such as CBSL, IMRS, MAST, and SYNT that have solid India facilities will continue to experience tremendous growth
way past Y2K. This seems to auger well for UBIX as well since they have strong contacts and since their base is here in the US they can claim to be an American company doing business in India for foreign clients and thus may be eligible for favorable tax status in India as well(don't know if thats the case, just thinking out loud).

Best Wishes,
Patricia
