SanDisk Signs Agreement With Advanced Portable Technologies to
Distribute Products in Australia

SYDNEY, Australia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 30, 1998--SanDisk Corporation (NASDAQ:SNDK - news) announced
today that Advanced Portable Technologies (APT), a leading distributor of mobile computing and remote access products in
Australia, has agreed to distribute SanDisk flash memory products in Australia.

Announcement of the agreement was made today by SanDisk officials at press briefings in Sydney.

Advanced Portable Technologies, one of the largest distributors of mobile computing solutions in the country, distributes
products through the Corporate I.T. reseller, systems integrator and retail channels. Its principal product lines are PC cards,
Windows CE-based handheld PCs, remote access solutions and wireless communications supporting all major GSM mobile
phone manufacturers.

Richard Troutte, SanDisk's vice president of sales for the Far East, said, ''APT's product lines are a perfect match for our
products. We supply the market with flash memory PC cards. Slots for SanDisk's CompactFlash(tm) storage cards are
designed into the new Windows CE-based handheld computers, and our new ultra-small MultiMediaCard is targeted at the
growing market for mobile phones.''

He added, ''Australia is a growing market for SanDisk's embedded and removable flash memory products, and we are finding
new applications for our flash in consumer electronics and other markets every month. APT has an extensive distribution
network in Australia and with its proven track record of success we believe the company will play a major role in expanding
our sales in Australia.''

industry-standard, solid-state data, digital imaging and audio storage products using its patented, high density flash memory and

Here we are again heading for the teens.

Looks like nonone wants this stock we don't even have nasty bears on the thread like on the wcii thread. No-one can even be bothered to slam it.

Maybe they should take it private?

I noticed you had some postings on Yahoo!

The deferred revenues are composed of two sources. The majority is receipts of license fees and royalties. A smaller portion of the balance represents product shipped to distributors, but not sold to end-users.

I know this for a fact.

I hope we are not headed for the teens. If it stays under $21.00 today I will increase my position again. Only two words for that...
