Hi Bruce, I think it's a double whammy. First, nobody does much stock posting on a really bad day in the market, and second, they go looking for a safe haven (like AIM) on those same days.

I was amazed by how closely the Zero Cost Averaging concept follows the trend of our beloved AIM. Thanks for sending the article. If we used a bit of both, I guess we could AIM until Newport told us we're up 100% and then just switch AIM off, take the Cash Reserve and start something new.

That's not too far off of Jeff Weber's concept of diversification, either. It's been a while since I read Jeff's book, so maybe I should dig it out one more time. Actually, maybe I should forward that article onto Jeff. I'll see if I have a FAX # for him.
