I understand they're (gene packets) randomized, easily randomized, but why make so many? Is it just because of bio-fear the environment will destroy them? And if I apply this thinking to the two million in the ovary, unless there is a way for The Long Arm to select viable ones, this would increase the likelihood of bobsledding barren eggs into the spotlight. Better investment would be to start with 300 randomized; and make sure they stay intact for delivery.

(We can see why I'm not a biologist.)

(But hey, I already know about everything else.)
