bmart, you sound very "inside." Care to share with us who you are and what basis you have for all this "inside" information? I don't mean this from a legal sense....but if you have a basis for this information, you could help this thread very much....otherwise you can only be perceived as "inventing" your information. It is understandable that even you (as an insider) could be wrong about your "Good Friday congratulations." But, what is your connection that allows you to make statements like "Morgan declined the offer for ethical reasons." That's getting into somebody's head....and cannot occur from afar.

... But it appears quite evident that it is most difficult for the illegal shortsellers of RMIL. Not much was mentioned on this board about the $.10 trade of 300 shares. Mr. Tonto is very persistent in painting RMIL as criminal, yet that act of the $.10 trade was criminal! It demonstrates very clearly for all to see who can be described as the criminals here. The act speaks loudly. Mr. Tonto failed to mention this act. ...

Let me first say that I think the word 'criminal' is a bit too strong. Given the volatility of grey market trading of stocks without market makers, this is exactly the thing one has to expect. Apparently $0.10 was the best price available at the time. I do recall someone offering $0.10 per RMIL share on this very thread at the end of March. If memory serves, I believe that bid represented a substantial raise from his earlier bid ($0.01/share). I guess he didn't want any more shares despite the supposedly imminent short squeeze. Could it be that person doesn't believe in the short squeeze? Well, I suppose not - he probably just wanted others to have the opportunity to profit.

No doubt you will wish to suitably chastise that person. Now, if only I could recall his name? ...

Amen to that. Someone else that also had the information besides me.
Mork wanted Morgan to do do some very unethical things that could be considered slightly ILLEGAL. Morgan told him to take a fast walk during that 1996 meeting.
