The name change and direction change will derail this puppy for months. I have voted with my wallet.

Huh? Like people will think, "Well, I used to use this Borland stuff; but, gosh, they're gone. Wonder where they went? Anybody seen Borland? Oh, I guess we'll just have to change to Microsoft or somebody..."

I don't think so. This may be the most inconsequential name change in corporate history. No one knew the significance of Borland from the outset, I'm not sure it does any real damage to make the change. I certainly would want something more substantive if I was going to "vote with my wallet"....

I voted with my wallet too.

That was me buying the OCT 7 1/2 calls.

And I don't often BUY calls.

The name change is great idea. Quick. Try to remember where "Lucent" came from!

The news was clearly mis-understood.
