My problem is I have really lost contact with my urban/suburban origins,the only store in my town is an authentic country store(I mean like a real honest to goodness country store,like in story books)so I really don't know what's going on anymore.But here is a small counter point,when ever I want to locate a IBSN number for a book I want I go Amazon.com,get the information and then call Nick at Blue Hill Books to give him my business. But that is just my personal resistance to having everything in my life made extinct by the impersonal,screen face of the internet--the more critical point,how many people will be needed to for these e-commerce sites to really make money--internet adept,surfing relaxed credit card loaded people,that is.I have doubts that the neccessary number will be achieved within the next 5 years and that is too long a wait for these internet companies to maintain there present over-valuation. But that is just one person's guess--time will tell.max90
