It doesn't have to end there either. If PNLK can gather and sustain a viable community of companies (customers) within their web site, it would be very easy to sell advertising to manufacturers and suppliers that are looking to sell to business consumers; i.e enterprise level advertising. Customs brokers would simply come with the territory in import/export ventures.

Someone mentioned in one of the posts here that anyone can buy listings of companies. True, because our own company can buy listings of retail customers that are interested in say, Beanie Babies. The beauty of lists is that companies like D&B can tailor them for a particular market segment. It sounds like that is what PNLK will do with their D&B listing and compartmentalize the companies within key-worded subgroups. Essentially, they will group everything within a search engine so that information is easily accessible to a user. So, if I wanted to do business with a company that sells widgets, I'd type in the word widget and I'll get a listing of widget companies and hopefully contacts within the company to get the ball rolling. A list of millions of customers is useless if you cannot access the information you need quickly and efficiently. PNLK sounds like they'll narrow down the choices and make the information easily accessible.

If this is in fact what PNLK can offer, I think they would open up a lot of business between countries and essentially match thousands of buyers and sellers. I suppose it's only about two weeks away until we find out if they'll successfully bring the internet to the import market. I for one am looking forward to the grand opening of their web site and will certainly sign up if they have something viable and useful to offer.

Regards,
Peter
