Yeah, that insider sell was posted here a long time ago when it was still a 144 Intent to sell. As I stated then, Menache is a regular seller in the $14-$15 range -- once a year. The sale didn't concern or surprise me.
Good luck,
Jackson

Hi Gary, I sold 10% of my position at $15-3/4! I guess I'm smarter than the VP!!

I'll be buying those shares back in the mid $11s, so I wonder if the VP will do the same!

Best regards, Tom

The VP sure sold at the right time. IDTI seems to be holding around 12 and probably won't go much lower for now. I am waiting for this summer or for news about an increased ramp in the C6 before buying again.

Cyrix/NSM have announced that they will introduce their M II (6X86 MMX) parts at 300 Mhz rather than 266 Mhz as previously expected. The volume intro is supposed to start in May. Along with that they will have 100 Mhz mother boards. AMD will also introduce 300 Mhz K6 parts with the new 3D MMX instructions and 100 Mhz MBs. Both of these introductions are aimed right at Intel's PII 300. The cost points on the 300 Mhz units is around $180. I expect lower prices for 200 Mhz parts and a shift to 233 Mhz as the low-end performance baseline.

IDTI is still in a race to get parts out that hit sufficient performance levels to attract a favorable price. It looks like it will be at least a few months before large quantities of parts are available. If IDTI can produce 100s of 1000s of WinChip IIs at 266 Mhz and 300 Mhz speed grades that should add significantly to the bottom line. <If the price stays above $125 ASP for the higher speed grades.> Maybe by late this summer?
