David, I was looking at the LU announcement of the Yurie deal: biz.yahoo.com I spotted this: In addition, certain key members of the Yurie management team have agreed to invest a portion of their proceeds in Lucent stock to be vested over a three-year period. Even though it's a cash deal, they end up with that cash coming back in the door. Kind of a little end run around that pooling of interests restriction? Not exactly to be sure, but not exactly all cash either.
