Listen Wayne, I agree with most what you say except for Ashton not being at fault here.
If they want to analyze "chips" as a way or evaluating the hole, then that's fine... But don't publish the damn results if that evaluation does not represent a fair and normal standard means of reporting the true value of that hole.
Hell I can just see it now... gold exploration Co's making releases on "chips" of cores they pulled out of a drill hole without assaying the core the conventional way.
Get the results, do it right and publish it, for good or bad, but don't do it half way and say it dry. - denis
