COMEX May silver enters its delivery period from April 30. Total COMEX silver volume was estimated at 19,000 lots. Silver prices were expected to remain well supported above $6.00 an ounce based on low levels of COMEX stocks and identifiable bullion inventories, prospects for another supply/demand deficit this year which will drawdown inventories further and the substantial long position held by US billionaire Warren Buffett, which is not likely to be liquidated at current levels, analysts said.
