Ken,
You will notice I very carefully said "no better land for growing fruit." I will quickly concede that there are a lot of places that are just as good. VBG Besides cherries I have pears, apples, peaches, apricots, plums, blueberries, grapes, raspberries and blackberries not to mention walnuts, both black and english. 90+% is in cherries though. Big black Schmidts are my specialty.

re Gaylord. If you owned land there for that period I bet you made a dandy profit though you would probably have seen it's value double in the last five years. Northern Michigan is a secret no more.
