[Change of topic]

In the April 13th issue of PC week, there was a review of a product called Scan-O-Matic. Apparently an absurd name, but a decent product.
Here's part of the review:

"In PC Week Labs' tests, Thinkstream Inc.'s Scan-O-matic 1.1 made it easy to capture, store, annotate and mail files containing a wide
variety of digital content. The product also simplified converting the files to HTML format for posting as part of a Web page.

The $79.95 application, which shipped last month, is more than just a
scanning and filing program like Visioneer Inc.'s PaperPort. With
Scan-O-matic, we could create a compound document containing text and
images by simply dragging images into a scanned text document and e-mail that document using a wizard.

The review URL is <http://www.zdnet.com/pcweek/reviews/0413/13scan.html>

Three questions occur to me:

1. Are there Visioneer plug-ins that effectively accomplish the same thing?
2. Is this a market that Visioneer is overlooking?
3. Do you see this as being a competitive threat to Paperport software?

There is a Paperport link for Quicken that is available at the Visioneer website. Is that what you are thinking of?
