Let's not forget the role that the OS plays in all of this. Is it not true that NT has support for dual processors, but Win95 does not? As for Win98, you beta testers out there will have to answer that question.

but note there are motherboards that support single cpu's and
others some called duals that support upto two cpu's

chas - thanks. I am getting my present computer fixed. ANd, as Larry suggested, I will wait for my new computer till Win98 is released so that it is pre installed and supportd. I would still like to get dual processor MB just to have the capability. - ratan
