Thanks for sharing the experience. I'm puzzled, but will assume it was some ideosyncratic issue on my end. Maybe you specified "all or none"? Such orders are not required to be displayed. Other thoughts you might have on advantages/DAs of Waterhouse vs. Datek would be welcome too. I like the Waterhouse perks. I will use them as a checking account even if I stop trading with them. Datek's best feature is the ability to short "anything". Other than that, they both suck. :)
