Last year I was wishing Jobs would get the hell out of Apple. He'd axed the clones, the stock was at an all-time low, and he had made a questionable deal with the Evil Empire! However, I've since changed my tune, as the positive results have since proven him out. The future looks bright indeed.

Yup, same here. I'm still a bit worried about Jobs. His record containsl of big blunders ---just like Gates'. The difference is that Bill is not afraid of radically changing his tune (internet anyone?) whereas Steve digs in his heels.

I sure hope he's learned since...

I attended the International ANDY Awards Show and Dinner last night. TBWA/Chiat won several awards for the "Think Different" campaign.

I also noted that the crowd applauded the longest and loudest after the presentation of the "Think Different" television spot. I think it may have hit a chord there.

Nothing from Intel, MSFT, Compaq, Dell or Gateway won anything. IBM and AT&T won for some television and print work.
