Thanks, but Yikes. What gobbledygook!

End of last year I posed a similar question to the tax guy at Motley, and he told me it seemed right (although hard to believe) that you could sell options at a loss and immediately replace them with even slightly dissimilar ones in the same company.

I didn't do it yet, but was contemplating it. Just wanted to get a definitive answer, but that seems hard to do with this mess of regulations.
