"By yearend 1998, we expect the S&P 500 to reach 1075, and the Dow Jones Industrial Index 8700." (Source: Goldman, Sachs & Co. U.S. Research "Our Favorite Stocks for 1998" 12/19/97)." So, we had 1130 on the S&P already on April 6th and again on April 22nd, 3 and 5 weeks after AJC revised her S&P target for 1998 upward an additional 7%.
