This is an extremely useful discussion, and doesn't happen that often on most boards. Like a wake-up call....

The amount of opportunity offered by micro-caps is balanced by the attendant risk, which includes a disproportionate amount of hype, BS, manipulation and outright fraud. It requires extreme diligence on posters parts to not "fall in love" with a stock to the point where your objectivity is compromised. Or, become fodder for the next good story. I say this with the deepest humility, having allowed myself to become one of the enthusiastic drumbeaters for a stock I fell in love with.... Something about the pro-promoters. They can smell a "lover" of a good story a mile away and will offer tid-bits of info and take you into their confidence (gently), so you feel somewhat special and the story is "leaked" to you. And you repeat the story, with all good intention and genuine sencerity.

This caution being said... On the other hand, a legitimate business small cap has the tremendous challenge of getting the story in front of good long term investors that can build a base to get the stock moving, and hopefully onto a full Nasdaq listing so it can be picked up by the wire-houses and analysts. A true catch-22. The legit story needs the support of investors like us. We are its life-blood in the market. We need to be nurtured and supported and built on.

As to Cymedix, Keith and John each are seasoned "warriors", having been burned and manipulated by the secondary financing vultures that pray on small caps. Keith has been there and brought a small cap to prominance. John has continuously turned aside from taking the easy typical promotional solution, opting for a more patient results based communications policy. They are a good team.

Cymedix is filled with promise. It could be huge. And, it is in its formative stages. It is possible that it could die a still birth....Unlikely, but possible - which in my opinion would bring about a sale of the technology for enough to keep the stockholders more than whole, but not rich! However, the early market responses suggest that the product has a bright future, and maybe a very bright future.

This is a time to be cautions, wary, attentive, but not overly suspecious, and not overly enthusiastic - yet.

A shorter way of saying this might have been - for us to encourager the thoughtful questionaire..... a most important role.

Pardon my ramblings, but I felt compelled by the quality of the discussion to contribute another POV.

Thanks,
gm
