ERICSSON AND DELTA THREE HAVE CREATED SOLUTION FOR ACHIEVING
QUALITY VOICE COMMUNICATIONS OVER THE INTERNET

Ericsson, and Delta Three, a subsidiary of RSL Communications, Ltd,
today announced the first commercial implementation of the next
generation of voice over the Internet technology. Ericsson and Delta
Three worked for six months developing the IP Telephony solution for
Carriers (IPTC), an Internet protocol (IP) telephony platform.
Today, the product is officially unveiled at a press conference in
London.

Delta Three and Ericsson are able to offer quality Phone-to-Phone
and PC-to-Phone IP communications because ITPC has a latency of
under 100 ms. In addition, Delta Three maintains quality by routing
the calls over a managed international network, thereby bypassing
the congested public Internet. IPTC builds on the same technology as
Ericsson's Phone Doubler and offers advanced network management
capabilities that simplify operations and maintenance. These
capabilities allow Delta Three and Ericsson to offer Network
Partners a turnkey solution for Voice over IP, combining the
technological excellence of Ericsson with the Global Internet
Telephony Network of Delta Three.

"This agreement between Ericsson and Delta Three is a significant
step for IP Telephony" said Ingemar Nilsson, executive vice
president, Ericsson Infocom Systems, "IPTC will set a new service
standard that the industry will come to expect. We are pleased to
work with such an innovative "next generation telco" as Delta Three
on this important development. Delta Three are entrepreneurs, and
definitely the largest and best-known name in the Internet Telephony
market."

Elie Wurtman, Chief Executive Officer of Delta Three, said, "As a
provider of Internet Telephony service, we quickly realized the
limitations of today's Internet Telephony equipment. We chose to
work with a world-class leader in the telecommunications industry to
create the Internet telephony solution of the future. We worked very
closely with Ericsson to provide the specifications which have
resulted in their new IPTC solution. With this development, Delta
Three will offer better quality calls at the same low cost that our
customers expect."

The New Technology is already installed and operational in the Delta
Three Global Network for international calls between Israel, the
United Kingdom and the United States. The companies said today that
IPTC will be installed at the 19 Delta Three current points of
presence (POP), with IPTC to be installed at each future Delta Three
POPs as well.

"The use of the Ericsson IPTC technology enables RSL COM to be the
first to manage a truly integrated network, seamlessly routing
Internet Telephony and standard telephony over one global network,"
said Itzhak Fisher, president and chief executive officer of RSL
COM. "This will result in lower operating costs for RSL COM and less
expensive international calling and faxing for our customers."

Delta Three, a subsidiary of RSL Communications Ltd., generates
millions of minutes of voice traffic each month by providing
Phone-to-Phone offerings such as calling cards, PC-to-Phone, and
other enhanced services to a growing number of consumers around the
world. With over 19 points of presence, Delta Three manages the
world's largest IP network dedicated to voice and fax traffic.
Parent company RSL Communications, LTD fills the gaps where the
Delta Three Global IP network does not yet reach, with its
traditional circuit switched telephone network.

Ericsson's 100,000 employees are active in more than 130 countries.
Their combined expertise in fixed and mobile networks, mobile phones
and infocom systems makes Ericsson a world-leading supplier in
telecommunications.
