RE/Can we conclude that nothing you bought in the same period had either Fujitsu or IBM drives?/ Yes, and over the past year I've bought around 350 drives, all Seagates. Although I only buy for servers, my colleagues that buy PCs for desktops get all kinds of brands...it seems whatever is cheaper at the time.
(for PCs they're buying mostly ASTs and just now starting to think about buying more Dells)
