When the CPQ-DEC deal was first announced, my fear was that it would play out much like the USRX-COMS deal... the ATT - NCR deal... and so on. If the article is accurate, it appears that CPQ is committed to make this buy work. Makes me a lot less uneasy.

KAD --- GOOD MORNING---Thanks for the information--- have bookmarked the page for future reference . I am not as concern about the merger as CPQ getting it's core business back on track ( note the comment on sub - 500 pc ) . The BTO is key to making money in the PC business as DELL has shown . The model has been out there for at least three years and CPQ is just implementing it now (" just in time "is another lingo for BTO ). I do appreciate the article
