Well, since I didn't get to participate in yesterdays discussion, allow me to give my favorite passage from the conference call.

Did any one notice Pete repeat himself, or at least his confidence level in the success of CHFK? Let me Paraphrase:

When discussing the meetings he's recently had with twenty to twenty five of the biggest banks.
CKFR presentment will be the major platform in the future Ah, by a wide margin to the majority of these banks.

Did that sound like the cook announcing dinner will be ready soon. I think we are going to have great birthday gifts from CheckFree this fall. I always liked the month of October, regardless.

I know this has been posted but it's worth repeating:

biz.yahoo.com

"CheckFree is the exclusive major integrated bill presentment and payment provider to Intuit."

...'exclusive' is the key word in this phrase. What this really means that if MSFDC has a bill to present, they will not be able to through Quicken or Quicken.com. And in turn will have a hard time selling billers on their service because they will have only one end point (the MSFDC webesite). Where CheckFree has millions, 350 financial Institutions, 10 million Quicken customers, and who knows how many Quicken.com users(@Home, AOL, etc.).

It will be a wonder if MSFDC actually gets any of the major billers to sign on. And I didn't even mention the Closed Model problem (Bill Gates his holding the keys).

Benny(Just thinking out loud).
