dennis: Since I am sitting here waiting for the market to open, I thought I would provide a couple of books and a site. Both books are published by the "New Classics Library" which is associated with Prechter. The first book is "R. N. Elliot's Masterworks." This book provides Elliot's original ideas. The second book is the "Elliot Wave Principle" by Frost and Prechter. This book is Prechter's discussion of the Elliot Wave. It also includes some of Prechter's calls and his 1996 call for the end of several significant cycles--which of course has been revised.

Prechter's site

elliottwave.com

provides a 34-part free course in Elliot Wave. Perhaps you are into vibrations and would like to try something very complex. That would be Gann. Competitive pricing for these books is available from the on-line book stores.

David may have other choices to add. Perhaps the work of Bolton.
