Re: One thing is for sure, the WSJ is probably the most influential daily financial publication out there and CNBC is THE financial news source on TV. The two of them teaming up enables them to muster the influence to move markets (as we witnessed with the interest rate 'event' earlier this week)... I agree. I'm just not impressed w/ the particular reporters from WSJ that are appearing, nor w/ how CNBC is incorporating them into the flow. Right now, it feels awkward and forced. Not starting a rumor, but just speculation - I think it to be very possible that we could see GE making a bid for DowJones w/in the next 18 mos.
