I just listened to the conference call. They spoke music to my ears. SKYC should break-even by late 1999 on an EBITA basis(Earnings before interest taxes and amortization) even if the ACTEL deals does not go though. They re-affirmed that the ACTEL deal, if completed, would immediately take them to break-even on an EBITA basis. The ACTEL deal should be done by the summer. Again, this is not a done deal, but things are still moving forward as expected. The big milestone I am looking for with the ACTEL is the signing of an undewriter for the offering. When/if that takes place, that will make the chances of the deal being completed much higher. Overall, I thought the conference call has gone well (I'm listening as I write since it is not done yet). No bad surprises, and reaffirmation of the break-even EBTIA targets. The only negative, which isn't too bad, is that the new subscribers to the Skycell system was 800 per month, instead of the 900-1000 per month I hoped for. I do not consider this a problem since this is within historical parameters and ARDIS performed strong as I expected. I believe they added approximately 20,000 ARDIS customers over last quarter, which is excellent and I expect excellent growth to continue in the quarters ahead. I might add that there were a lot of people asking questions during Q&A session of the conference call. I consider that quite positive.
