30-year: +22/32...6.025% Q1 Employment Cost Index up 0.7% qtr/qtr, 3.3% year/year. Q1 GDP up 4.2%, deflator up 0.9%. Initial Claims for the April 25 week up 1K to 319K. APICS index fell to 47.4 from 52.3. The mix of stronger than expected GDP growth and lower than expected inflation indications (ECI and GDP deflator) is an acceptable mix for the market. The bond spiked over a point higher and then quickly gave back nearly a point, but is still 3/4 of a point higher and out of danger until tomorrow's NAPM. Greg :) to the moon alice hehehheheee
