Ok, here is something really interesting. If you look on Yahoo's web site, you see the earnings estimates have not changed. HOWEVER, if you go to the NASDAQ web site, you will see that the analyst estimates have been increased from $1.29 for this year to $1.43, and from $1.84 to $1.91 for 1999. I wonder if this increase will become "more public" anytime soon. That is, I wonder if Oppenheimer is working on an updated research report, now that earnings estimates apparently have quietly been raised better than 10% for this year. Very interesting. I still expect more analyst coverage coming reasonably soon. Take a look at the NASDAQ link below:
