Long, believe it or not it does not makes sense to look at historical PE's on a stock that is growing at Dell rate (about 70% over the past five years). If you assume that Dell will easily earn $2.00/ share this year and will grow at half its historical rate of 35-40%, it is trading at about the same rate as future earnings (i.e., a PEG ratio of about 1 vs. 1.5 for the Dow). Wouldn't you think a stock with Dell's track record deserves some premium over the Dow average? If so, Dell is undervalued in relation to the ave. Dow stock. JMHO.
