I guess what i meant is that it is as no brainer a bet as the belief that it is safe to hold MSFT for the long term or Intel for that matter. As for tech stocks, I personally believe it is actually quite a safe sector to be in for the long haul. The key is not to fall for companies that have just the best technology.. but the whole package.. brand name, distribution management, property inventory risk control, R&D investment direction... etc
But its just one opinion.
