Dennis,

Just remember that 'Kooky' needs to be capitalized.

Dennis,

I agree. The initial orders from VTech must have been large for them to become 8% of total business in less than 6 months.

The PR states that it's for Jetcrown. This surprises me because I would think it to be for Kwanasia. It may become Kwanasia later when they get the facility expansion in September.

We can't make too much of this as yet. They have lost some business from Namtai and VTech won't influence current situation that much, but (IMO) the potential contracts from VTech are very high. I recently looked at InterTel and Harmon, both growing strong, apparently Behringer is doing well, another post indicated increased business from Mita. We often discuss how small their customers are, but VTech and Mita are both large international companies. Concerns about Deswell's ability to acquire new business seems to be limited only by it's capacity.

The words that caught my eye were 'current run rate'.

For what it's worth,
Ron
