Enough with this BS. I don't need to "rationalize" my CPQ investment because I am confidant of what it will accomplish in the future. The problem I have is rationalizing my DELL investment. Sure, Dell is a great company, and the stock has performed great in the past...but c'mon this stock looks overvalued. Hell, even LoD thinks so. That doesn't mean I won't invest in DELL...just that I'm very cautious in this stocks.

As for being proven wrong about the employee numbers...Who's proven me wrong. LoD? You must be kidding? Chuzzlewit...you claim to know how to crunch numbers...can you honestly say what LoD did is accurate? What's with the double standard here? When I post you come up with this elborate response, when LoD post utter nonsense...you agree. Why don't I just deposit money to my bank on the last day of the year and demand a full years worth of interest? That's what LoD seems to be implying.

I will be the first admit when I was wrong, yet people on this thread refuse to do so in return. The reason I reply on this thread is that I have never seen more incorrect and inaccurate information.

I too am waiting for Jim Kelly to return. Let's see all the BS he can post and how much this thread comes to his rescue. Finally, this thread has really wasted alot of my "energy". I'll just post here when something important is discussed (don't all cheer at once). Given this, I don't think I'll be posting here too much.

David, I disagree with your guess: My guess is Eddie is trying to get us all to dump
our DELL and put the money into CPQ to try and drive it's price up.

I think he's trying to rationalize his investment in Compaq, so his approach is to show
how well Compaq is doing compared to Dell. He can't bring himself to recognize that
Dell is outperforming Compaq using just about any metric you'd care to use, so he
latches on to nonsense like revenues per employee (and even there it turns out that he
may be wrong).

TTFN,
CTC

Hehehe could be that too. Whatever it is, he is losing the battle.

Eddie just sell your Compaq and go long on DELL. This comes from someone who has listened to the folks on this page for a long time and because of that they have made me a ton of money on DELL.
