<<Can you give us more details about the upcoming machines?>>

Well they'll definitely be BTO. This should be nice for those picky customers and should be good news for investors. This means they'll really get a handle on their operations and inventory for their biggest profit maker.

The new machines seem to use second-generation everything. Better batteries (complete with LED lights to tell you how it's holding up!) better accessiblity to it's insides, etc.

Interesting note: the processor comes on a daughtercard for ALL models which means, in theory, that the processor will be upgradeable. According to macworld, Apple won't publicize this for fear of being locked into expectations.

The issue should be out in just a few days, so you'll all be able to see the coverage in full glory in person. The ad from Apple is really the cream of the crop!
