Eric presented already, this is from Briefing : "Networkers continued to outperform the overall tech sector, with today's leaders including Newbridge Networks (NN), Cisco Systems (CSCO) and 3Com (COMS)... Latter company, recently labelled by Briefing as a "safe haven" due to its limited downside risk, jumped 1 1/16 on positive comments made at the Hambrecht & Quist conference... Company noted that its sales channel inventory (source of its earlier problems) was excellent and that operating margins will improve to 16%-20%... Expects expenses to be flat to lower in coming quarters... Could be just the "positive" surprise necessary to jump start industry and market laggard...
