CatLady: Thanks for the due diligence on PC based Y2K solutions. A 15 minute perusal of your PC software packages links yields the following thumbnail sketches .... proveit2000.com .... One product per machine. No price available. Download Demo version available. Click on "order online", fill out the form, and your order is submitted. No price anywhere. Developed in the UK? business-america.com .... No price available. Download Demo version available. Not much info available. pcprofile.com .... No price available. Download demo of the "see if your PC has a Y2K problem" version. The rest of the product suite would cost money, presumably. bozemanlegg.com .... a source code analyzer. Freeware. This is unlike the rest of the tools mentioned above. "This software is very robust and can be used to analyze source code written in any high level programming language, on any platform. The software comes ready to analyze several common programming languages. Other programming languages can easily be added by following the instructions included with the software." year2000software.com ... $1,395 per single user copy. Discounts for multiple users. Not a tester. A management system for tracking Y2K compliancy projects (I think). onmark.viasoft.com ... This one is primarily for the corporate consumer, but could be used by a single PC user (I think). No price available. A whole suite of tools. Complete solution for PC based software. This complements Viasoft's mainframe Y2K offering. Viasoft is a class act, so I expect this to be a very robust offering. Naturally, the price would be commensurate (meaning high). Sorry, since I don't really know what CSHK's offering does, I can't compare any of these products to it. Perhaps this afternoon or tomorrow when I get the demo, I'll be able to compare/contrast the various solutions. I'm assuming that it is similar to the 1st three entries above. Happy investing, TED
